The annual dinner is here again! Join us for this wonderful evening of delicious food, and the chance to try many many different wines blind with an appreciative crowd!
We’ll be starting with a Sparkling Wine Reception at 7pm (the bubbles will be provided!). Dinner is at 7:30pm. The menu for the evening is as follows:
English Asparagus and pecorino tart, pea shoot salad (V)

Fish of the day, seared scallop and a caper, lemon and wild garlic butter
[Grilled halloumi, honey, lemon and wild garlic dressing (V)]

Slow cooked fillet, fondant potato, wild mushrooms, pea puree and a braised oxtail sauce
[Lentil and root vegetable parcel, wild mushroom, pea puree and fondant potato (V)]

Dark and white chocolate cheesecake, marinated strawberry and honeycomb

Cheese and Fruit (with Fortified Wines included!)
We’ll also be giving away wine to some lucky winners! We’ll be holding a few raffles and a Mystery Wine Contest! Come for a great time and to win prizes!
Attendees must bring a bottle of wine to share and make sure that it is ‘blinded’ (i.e. wrap it in foil, a tea towel, put it in a CLEAN sock, etc.). This is an amazing opportunity to try all sorts of different wines – we all share among attendees! We’ve had some crazy wines and fancy wines (off-label Yquem, anyone?) over the years; you never know what someone will bring! This is the perfect event to bring an unusual wine you have been meaning to try for a while, or that bottle you know will be delicious that has been waiting for the right opportunity to open. If you aren’t sure what to bring, anyone in the local wine shops (such as Cambridge Wine Merchants, Bacchanalia, Noel Young) should be more than happy to recommend something delicious whatever your budget.
If you would like to be seated as a group, please email Emer at ecj35 [@cam.ac.uk] with the list of people to be seated together. We can’t guarantee seating requests, but will do our best. Seating requests and dietary requirements must be emailed to Emer by 11am on Monday 5th June at the latest, with ‘Annual Dinner’ included in the subject line.
