Wine and Food Pairings
Steak with a bottle of Bordeaux? Fish with albarino? Curry with a Mosel riesling?!
Join us as we celebrate the end of term and look towards the upcoming holiday season! This week we will learn what wines and foods make a perfect pair. We’re pulling out all of the stops to help you discover what might be the perfect pairing for your next dinner party- you may even spot sweet/fortified wines in the line-up this week. This will be a great opportunity to put all of your blind-wine knowledge to the test if you have been following along with most of our sessions this term, or simply to enjoy a wonderful selection of holiday-themed wines if you are a beginner.
Seb works at Berry Bros and Rudd as a Quality and Authentication Specialist, his previous title at BBR was Fine Wine Buying Assistant.
Please bring your own set of 6 ISO tasting glasses. This Sunday, we will be unable to give you any glasses that you bought from us.
Refund policy: Ticket refunds will only be given if the CUBWTS secretary is emailed 48 hours or more prior to the event and we are able to reallocate your ticket to another person. If you find that you are unable to attend after this time, it is your responsibility to re-sell your ticket.
