Did you know cabernet sauvignon is the love child of sauvignon blanc and cabernet franc?
For the last tasting of term, we are going to explore the relationship between grape genetics and taste. We will first group wines based on their flavour profiles to build a tasting similarity tree. We will then see how this tree relates to the phylogenetic tree constructed using the underlying genetic similarities between grapes.
