Welcome to the wonderful world of blind wine tasting! Wondering what it’s all about? Is it just a lot of bluffing?!
Join us as we explore how we even begin to tell different wines apart! This first session will introduce you to the basics of blind wine tasting, including a preliminary look into recognising acid, alcohol, sugar, and tannin. We will provide four white and four red wines for you to taste and some other things to taste and compare. It is perfect for total beginners but also great fun for those experienced tasters among us to refresh your skills. We start from scratch and no prior knowledge is needed – all are welcome!
The session will be led by Benson Chen, current CUBWTS president, Varsity Team Captain, and international wine tasting competitor.
The EXACT same session will be held on Saturday and Sunday. Please ONLY buy tickets to ONE of the sessions (not both).
Location: St. Andrew’s Hall, St. Andrew’s Rd, Chesterton, Cambridge CB4 1DH
