Spanish Wines
After becoming a Master of Wine in 2017, David Forer moved from San Francisco to Barcelona to be able to witness the rise of the new Spanish wine boom. Encouraged by the growing number of Spanish wines made authentically by passionate local producers from indigenous grape varieties, David bought a vineyard in the Priorat in 2018 and started making wines under the name Clos Salanca.
David’s daughter is now studying at Cambridge, and he is grateful for this as it gives him a chance to return to the city of his birth (his father was a tutor at Kings way back in the day). David will guide us through a tasting of some of the highlights of the current wine scene in Spain.
We’ll be serving a flight of four white wines and five red wines.
Please bring your own set of 6 ISO tasting glasses. Glasses are available to buy here.
